Dr. Feigelson graduated with honors from New York University College of Dentistry in 1990.
In addition, Dr. Feigelson received extensive training in anesthesia which led to his becoming New York State Certified in the use of intravenous and oral sedation. The credentialing process was rigid, and Dr. Feigelson is one of a only a few General Dentists in the region with the ability to offer sedation to those of his patients who prefer to be asleep or in a state of total relaxation for their treatment.
Dr. Feigelson attended the year-long Maxi-Course in Oral Implantology where he received training by many of the leaders in the field of Implantology. Dr. Feigelson is currently Associate Clinical Professor, Graduate Program in the Department of Dentistry at the University Medical Center at Stony Brook.
As a highly active member within organized dentistry, Dr. Feigelson is currently the President of the Suffolk County Dental Society and serves as Delegate to both the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association’s House of Delegates. He Chairs the Mentorship Program, which he formed to guide and support dental students and new dentists. In addition, he is a member of the Peer Review Committee and the Give Kids a Smile Program for Suffolk County.
Dr. Feigelson and his wife Suzanne, have two daughters, Rachel and Samantha.
